New FA policy set to cause a stir

   TSR FA Murfeel has posted her new policy on her minisite at TSR. In short, it says:

 “There is no need to ask my permission to use my meshes for your creations. Why? Because you can take it alll~!!!! XD It’s all free for you to use, any object meshes I upload I don’t need any credit…though the warm fuzziness inside when it’s given is always a nice feeling”   “Also, I have no problem with people re-uploading my work on other sites and forums (especially the foreign ones)–just as long as you don’t say it’s YOURS”

Kudos to Murfeel on a very fair and open policy.

Even though Murfeel has set all but one of her uploads to free, This unselfish and ungreedy approach will not go down too well with Tom. Even unpaid SA’s have been banned from uploading their free items to their own sites, with some artists being hacked for less.

It will be interesting to see the outcome of this. Hopefully, after her recent hacking,  Murfeel now uses a different password outside TSR to the one stored on the TSR DB.

  Still, Tom has more pressing issues on his mind - A long term FA has been diagnosed with something very serious and she has taken some time off. Tom called a meeting to discuss this. Was it to organise a big bunch of flowers and a hope you get well soon card? No, it was to discuss striking her from the FA pool. Nice. She has only been away since December.

All is not well at TSR. We have leavings, hackings and fightings.

If you are Toms prized FA, it is not a good idea to let the cat out of the bag that you are getting itchy feet, this results in Tom getting itchy fingers and you losing a great deal of your digital life. It also appears that Toms not-so-prized FA’s are no safer. He has been a busy little gnome this week.

To top it all off we have a Moron-O with a god complex making waves ( and many enemies ) MMM… not sure if he thinks he is psychically channelling Atwa or if she has her hand up his ass. Again.  Neither of them seem to be capable of doing the tasks they were assigned to do but are only too willing bark orders and act like they own the place. Atwa’s ‘low profile’ status means she has to keep her mouth publically shut so The Moron is working overtime spouting enough Verbal Diarrhea for the both of them.

We must have missed the memo that put him in charge, well those of us that still have Emails that is..

I smell another mutiny on the horizon.

The mystery of ‘Trance’

Happy new year Simmers!!

  Goodbye to 2011, raise a glass to 2012! 

  One of my biggest regrets of last year was my inability to prove a link between the hackers new chosen name of ’Trance’ and Thomas. As I’ve reported here previously, the hacker has, on occasions, used emails containing the name ‘Trance’ and has also created accounts in that name.  I knew this linked to Tom and I said at the time:

  “It is a little known fact that Tom has had dummy accounts at TSR in the names thomastrance and Thomas_trance, he also used that name on an online game and has used it for Skype. None of this is widely known and was a long time ago.”  

  However, proving it was another story, I never pushed the fact beyond my inital comment because it is far too easy to say “Yeah Tom used that name before” From a readers point of view, I could have simply just made that up. Oh well, unless Tom actually comes out of the closet as ‘Trance’ in public, this mystery will never be solved. Shame.

 

  Let us move on to TSR, they have been busy celebrating raking in your money for another year.

So Tom has a YouTube account in his ThomasTrance name, He has had this account since March 2006, and yet it has been hardly used in the last 6 years.

  TSR are back to their usual habit of stealing from free creators and selling the stolen goods to their subscibers. This time it is Pralinesims making a tidy profit off of the back of a talented free creator, LemonLeaf  http://blog.sina.com.cn

  Pralinesims claims to create and hand paint their ‘creations’ but as the following screencaps prove, They did little more than simply steal them.

15 Year old hacked and subjected to ‘Goatse’ porn: Is Thomas Isaksson a paedophile?…UPDATED

The full story.

  Yesterday, I published a partial article on the website hacking and exposure of extreme male porn to a 15 year old boy, since then he has been hacked again, this time his twitter and box accounts were  also hacked, he has once again been subjected to the same porn and his sexuality and vegetarianism were mocked. I am now able to give a better account of what happened thanks to this brave boy coming forward with his experiences, so my last article has been replaced with this one.

  On July 9th popular creator and P.M.B.D member Levini was hacked. I have viewed his site, but I have decided to describe events rather than use a screencap, due to the extreme distasteful nature of what the hacker, thesimsresource.com  ( TSR ) owner, Thomas. O. Isaksson left behind.

  Only four months after TSR attacked the site of a 16 year old girl and left behind gross content, 15 year old Levini’s Dreamwidth site was attacked – hacked and defiled with extreme porn images. It also contains a heading encouraging the reader to perform a vile sex act, as well as a gay slur in the side bar. What makes this already terrible attack even more horrible is the fact that Levini is gay, and for someone so young to have their sexuality mocked in such a sick and depraved manner is beyond hideous. Homophobia alone is a despicable and hateful crime, but if you add pedophilia into the mix and you have one hell of a sick individual. Any parents among will understand how horrible it would feel to have your child subjected to such, Levini’s parents also witnessed this and were understandably as extremely upset  as  their young son was.  I am disgusted and outraged that yet again a minor has been subjected to this level of depravity, the only kind of person I can see doing this to minors would be a pedophile. Levini was made aware of the hacking after receiving an email from Dreamwidth as screen capped below.  Take note of the IP, Yet again it is the same IP as previously used by Thomas and his other hackings.

  The day after this, Levini’s twitter account and box account were also hacked. He lost everything in his box account, but has thankfully since recovered his files. The twitter contained the ‘goatse’ porn picture, Levini’s real name was added, and his vegetarianism was cruelly mocked, along with another statement that could be constituted as a gay slur. Here is a screen cap. I have edited the pictures, his contacts and his name.

  • Tom has hacked the community countless times.
  • Sent porn to minors at least twice, not counting the thousands of children subjected to his on site porn ads that ran last year.
  • Targeted the gay community including The Gay Sims Club.
  • Now he has targeted vegetarians.

  These are the actions of a Hacker, a Pedophile, a homophobe and a bigot. There is no place in the community, or anywhere else for that matter, for such behavior. Tom needs to seek therapy. Fast.

   I am disgusted and outraged that yet again a minor has been subjected to this level of depravity. Only four months after TSR attacked the site of a 16 year old girl and left behind gross content, today a Dreamwidth site belonging to another minor, a 15 year old boy was attacked – hacked and defiled with extreme porn images. It also contains a heading encouraging the reader to perform a vile sex act, as well as a gay slur in the side bar. I am told both the boy and his parents were horrified by this sickening attack and I have sent him a message which includes the home address of this depraved pervert.

TSR: Still harassing sites, still deleting your downloads. UPDATED 4th JULY

TSR are still on a mission to eliminate rival sites, and if he can not get your sites, he will get your downloads.

  Many of you will be all too familiar with mysterious disappearing files hosted offsite from places such as Mediafire. These hosting sites are popular with those of you that have small sites and/or limited bandwidth, and also with those of you who have had your websites hacked and your downloads deleted. You may think that by hosting off site your downloads are safe. Nope, Tom has that covered. Tom classes these deletions as a form of sport, and gains endless hours of pleasure out of watching someone’s files get ‘legally’ deleted. In most cases the legality is up for question, considering he lies about the file ownership in order to achieve his goal. How does this work? It is really simple. You create a dress, upload it to Mediafire. Tom tells Mediafire he owns that dress, and gives them a link to any dress on TSR. Mediafire do not have a picture of your file, they are not simmers or programmers and they do not open your packaged file. Tom is careful not to provide a link to your site in case they notice your pictures and his pictures do not match. They take his word that it is his file and it is deleted. They do not want to get into copyright arguments – it is far easier for them to delete your file and ignore your complaints.

  He also uses this method as a form of harassment; you may remember that like GOS, Spanish site Sunset Sims had their site deleted due to a false TOS report. They launched a new site with the help of Pescado. Since then countless files have been continually deleted from their offsite hosts. I was talking to the site owner, Bencuom, yesterday, ( who I must add is one of nicest and sweetest people you could ever wish to meet ) and when I asked her to estimate the number of downloads she has lost, she replied “many, many”. Which I assume is an awful lot. I do know this has been continuously happening to her on her latest site since she reopened in January and before that Tom had her Wordpress closed, so I would agree an exact amount of lost files would be hard to estimate.

  She has kindly provided me with a copy of an Email sent to her from Mediafire in May and gave me permission to share this. I have removed her Email address from the top.

  So there you have it. All carpet patterns belong to TSR, ( by law! ) This,  from TSR - the same idiots that also tried to claim ownership on the color orange, and then went on claim a full palette of block colors.  But let us ignore the fact that The Sims and all its merchandise belong to EA.

The harassment of Sunset sims still continues, this is one of the three ‘take-down’ notifications Sunsetsims has received in one day. Little Tom has been busy.

TSR FA In real life fraud conviction!

   A TSR FA has been convicted of fraud in the UK, this is the second time this FA has appeared before the courts for the same crime. I am still awaiting more details on the outcome of the first trial, which took place in January of last year; lack of information on the outcome prevented me from reporting on this at the time. Thomas flew out to the UK in the same week as the first trial took place, whether his flight was in fact connected to the trial is unknown. Details of the outcome still remain sketchy.

  The same FA, already famed for allegedly stealing  meshes of plant pots from MTS and selling them on TSR, has continued to commit the same crime of defrauding the UK government and has been brought to justice once more.

  The fraud took place when this FA officially claimed that she was not working. She Shake and Shafted the UK government into paying her full welfare benefits by claiming she did not work and cannot work in any capacity due to ill health and has no other income, when in fact she was earning a set payment from her work at TSR and was paid $800 per month, which has risen up to $1000 per month.  This fraud has been going on since Jan 2, 2006, so even at the lower rate of earnings I calculate she owes the UK tax payers over $50,000 for the period ending March 2011 when she was convicted.  She has been ordered to return the money she has stolen, although it is not clear if she has to pay back the full amount, I imagine she would have to. She also has to pay the court fees and complete work in the community by cleaning public toilets.

  She is still working as an FA, and still earning her fixed monthly payments, so either she has taken a cut in payments from the welfare system, or she is heading for her third fraud conviction.

 

  I wonder how many other FA’s at TSR are committing the same crime; many countries all over the world have welfare systems just waiting to be abused by the greedy and the lazy.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unemployment_benefits  Such benefits are paid for by the taxes of hard working citizens, and it is sad to see this system being abused.

  Which brings me to tax, how many FA’s, or indeed TSR themselves are paying tax on their earnings? Not many. BREAKING NEWS

  TSR have decided to cut their losses and call it a day.

  Thesimsresource will be closing its doors on May 31st 2011, however it has been decided that no formal warning will be given until May 25th so as not to deter subscribers.

  TSR has reported heavy losses over the past year with more and more simmers turning to free sites and the booty for their CC. Fear of virus’ has also caused a large drop in visitors and Ad revenue has plummeted as a result.  They cite a lack of support from EA, and added security measures employed by rival sites. There is also a shortage of FA artists after several walked out and attempts to poach new talent from the exchange failed.

   The existing plans for TSR to purchase the EA Exchange and forums have been put on hold again. Originally scheduled for 31st March, the deal fell apart 2 days ago and the finalisation was put on hold until the 5th April. With the imminent closure of TSR, it is not known how this will affect the deal, or if the deal will now take place at all. EA are expected to make a BIG announcement regarding this deal on their facebook on the 5th April. This is one of the x2 announcements, the other remains unknown.

  I will keep you informed of any further developments as they occur..

Paranoia will destroy ya! ( Updated 5th April )

  EA are not in TSR’s good books. Tom and Co have been waiting with baited bad breath to see the new announcement that was originally scheduled for today on the Sims 3 facebook. While the rest of the world thinks with some certainty the announcement will be Generations related, paranoid Tom is worried that it will be some sort of creation tool to rival the workshop. Now, with the announcement being delayed until Tuesday, he has another 5 day agonising wait. It has even been suggested that uploads made with this EA tool be denied from the TSR site. That is going to go down well with EA I am sure!

  It seems a tad premature to make rules for a tool that probably does not even exist, and what would be the big deal if it did? If EA were to make such a tool, players would still blindly upload to TSR, so why does it have to be strictly only the TSR tool that they use? I guess this is the same reason that they send sock puppets over to the EA forums whenever someone even suggests that the TSR tool is not safe to use. It is ok to call them hackers, information sharers, thieves, extortionists and paedophile magnets ( all true ) However if anyone dare to dis their workshop, a shitstorm will ensue. They do not care what dirty little secrets the community knows and repeats about them, so long as they have the whole community trusting, using and regularly updating this tool, I wonder why.

  On a funnier note, it is refreshing to see TSR on pins waiting for news, I remember the days when they would have known the announcement in advance thanks to Steve’s connections and their *ahem* ‘close’ relationship with EA. These days EA seem to be keeping their distance. It looks like TSR are sleeping on the couch.

 UPDATE: 5th April 2011

  As expected, EA’s announcement was nothing to do with a rival tool. It was Generations. Perhaps Tom may now realise just how paranoid he really is? I must say I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the new expansion on Gamespot, the preview on gamerevolution and the Gameplanet interview with producer Ryan Vaughan was quite interesting.  On April 12th simfans.de will test the new EP Generations and are accepting questions. Sims-3.net  have attended a fan event in Germany, which has been translated into English by simsVIP

  TSR would have had an amazing ‘exclusive’ but Steve’s scanner broke much to the relief of PC format.

Update: I found this, I lolled! Someone finally put Toms facebook pic to good use.

Whenever I see that picture, I always imagine a goldfish tail sticking out of his mouth, I have no idea why, I just do.
