In September, a key FA who had worked for TSR for over 7 years, spanning both TS1 and TS2 games ‘retired’. She raked in the money for TSR, and was always considered a coup for the site, but when she had some homelife problems which caused her updates to slow down, TSR were very understanding….

TSR do not only behave in a despicable way to everyone else, they also behave in an obsessive and gut retching manor towards each other, and even worse, to the innocent families of each other.
To demonstrate I am going to tell you a tale about something that happened at the beginning of this month. Because of the sensitive nature, and the involvement of innocent family members, I will take the unusual step of changing the names of all the people. The names are fictional, the story is true, the exact dates are omitted.
Hello and welcome to my blog. In this blog I will give the Sims 2 community a little understanding of a fraction of what goes on within a paysite. For years players have speculated, sometimes rightly and sometimes wrongly, about the TSR myths and legends. Here I hope to give positive proof on subjects ranging from DDos attacks to sharing information gathered from paypal transactions.
To be defamatory the contents would need to be ”a false and unprivileged statement of fact that is harmful to someone’s reputation” As some of this blog contains screenshots of actual posts, for reasons of proof, the posters themselves are the ones making the statements. An example being: a screencap of a group of people admitting they have just made a bandwidth attack on another website is different to myself stating that they did so with no proof of the fact. The reporting here is much the same as you would see in any newspaper, If a public figure openly posted in public that he was sharing someones personal information, or attacking someones servers, a newspaper would report this as a general interest to the public providing they had proof of the dirty deeds actually taking place. TSR do not deny anything written here, in fact they posted a full admission on the front page of their website ( in their news section ) This coupled with the fact the posts were made by them in the public domain makes it impossible for them to hold up the defamatory card. The names and personal details of the innocent people they exposed have been blurred by myself.

It’s also worth noting that according to the EULA provided by EA Games for the sims 2, paysites such as TSR are illegal. Electronic Arts Inc state that ‘fansites’ may only operate a personal noncommercial website for the noncommercial benefit of the fan community. That is not my personal opinion, it is what EA wrote and supplied with every game, expansion and addon pack for the sims 2. TSR charge a susbscription of around $50 USD, so in regards to defamation, its like a drug baron suing Mr. Joe Public for calling him a pot head.
Here is a perfect example of Toms bare faced lies, even to his own MODS. These shots were taken in June, Where Tom assured the MODS, that coconut was ‘making things up’ and that he would not be taking on Atwa again. Atwa since went on to create under many names, Beasims, Effie, bluemoon2, Queenbee to name a few, using a proxy IP supplied by Tom, with full intentions of fooling the MODS as to her secret identity. Tom later denied it was to fool them, Who else were they trying to fool? Only the MODS can see IP numbers. She was nominated for SA under her Beasims account and was due for the FA position before the MODs wised up. She now has a paid job in administration, calling herself ‘HL’s ( Toms ) right hand woman’, despite Toms earlier remarks of “Noone is letting her back in” and ” I’m doing my best to get her off my back and it seems the only feasible way is to remain quiet – at least it’s starting to slowly work (I hope).” Makes you wonder what his right hand woman uses her right hand for.
Perhaps Tom has seen this video from Anita’s sister Ulla, and he’s hoping for an introduction, but as she lives all the way in France, perhaps he’s hoping she gave Anita some lessons. The MODS at TSR made themselves crystal clear on their feelings towards Atwa all the way back in April, so we have to question what Toms motives are for allowing her still to dictate how TSR is ran by employing her in administration for TSR and working the up coming V7. It is also amusing that she describes one of her many duties as ’site relations’ and ‘HL’s right hand woman. HL is her nickname for Tom, meaning ‘His Lordship’ She claims that Tom runs the site in name only, possibly a great exaggeration on her part, as all she seems to do all day is stalk her former friends, and the people over at PMBD, GOS and Sims Cave, as well as finding the time to make false reports to Live Journal.
On to Todays thread, from last April, entitled ‘EarthGoddess Lets Anita Have It’.
LDG ( Living Dead Girl ) was FA for a day at TSR, until she saw how large her fanbase was within the free community. She went into the light and joined Garden Of Shadows, preferring to share her creations for free, leaving Tom to wipe the crusty egg off his face. He manages to restrain himself somewhat in the thread, but was left fuming by the whole fiasco. Since this, there have been some changes in the FA system, as suggested by some FA’s in this thread. FA’s will no longer be announced right away, ( and some will not be announced in the news section at all ), instead they will have a settling in period, this involves a special section of the FA forum just for new arrivals, this will enable staff and FA’s to ‘befriend’ them and make sure they are fully converted, before ‘free lovers’ can talk to them. Artists who wish to remain free will also no longer be made SA. Under review is the idea that non subscribers will not have the privilege of being featured, no decision has been made on this as yet, also other non subscriber privileges of artists are under review.

Then there’s the bonuses, All FA artists are eligable for the monthly bonus payments, started September 2005 up to the present day. They are forbidden to discuss the amount each one receives, and later were banned from saying who even received one, due to jealousy. The bonus range is $50 to $500, depending on the winner and the catagory. Here is the bonus thread, so you can get an understanding of how the bonus system works. After some bitching from the FA’s, the thread is now locked, but posted on every month by Tom to confirm this months bonus has been sent.

Your subscriptions pay for more than just bandwidth.
Tom and Anna already own a house and stables, but thanks to your subscription payments and the work of all the artists paid and unpaid, Tom can pursue his hobby of building a 2nd dream home, while the ones paying him are struggling to afford expansion packs to pursue their hobby of building virtual sim houses in a game.
