I am told that to sell addresses in this way is perfectly legal and TSR are commiting no crime, in fact I am also told that by buying the magazine, users are signing an agreement for their personal details to be used in such a way. I have yet to find evidence of this, although I do admit I have not had the time to look very hard. Your addresses are being sold in ‘blocks’ to marketing firms, what affect this will have on you personally remains to be seen.
