Another day, another theft. Welcome to TSR.
TSR are back to their usual habit of stealing from free creators and selling the stolen goods to their subscibers. This time it is Pralinesims making a tidy profit off of the back of a talented free creator, LemonLeaf http://blog.sina.com.cn
Pralinesims claims to create and hand paint their ‘creations’ but as the following screencaps prove, They did little more than simply steal them.

Thomas is aware of these thefts and chose to do nothing except firmly pat Praline on the back and offer support! Despite propaganda vowing to stamp out theft by TSR artists, this ‘rule’ only applies to free uploaders ( when caught ) TSR FAs, as always, are exempt. It is perfectly OK to steal if Tom ‘pedo’ Isaksson makes money out of it.
Please remember DO NOT SUPPORT THEFT, SUPPORT THE ORIGINAL ARTIST. DO NOT PAY FOR STOLEN GOODS!
UPDATE – A WTF Moment
Upon browsing the comments section of Pralinesims blogspot site I was discusted to read a repulsive racist comment directed at the Chinese people as a whole. Assuming that Praline did not ‘ghost write’ the comment themselves it still remains that they approved it. If the comments are not on approval only, I still have a problem with the fact that Praline posted her own comments between 8 hours – 2 days and counting after the racist comment and has still not removed it, despite complaints from other readers.
The racist comment was posted at 3/9/11 06:08 Praline visited her blog and posted at 3/9/11 14:43, 14.47 and again at 18.57 without deleting the racist comment. She visited again and posted the following day at 4/9/11 15:42, and the day after at 5/9/11 01:55. Other readers have complained to her about it, but still it remains. Nasty.

I’ve been following this whole thing on the Lemonleaf blog since Sep 4th and it just scares me that the simming community may loose another free creator over this. I notice that Lemonleaf has suspended creating in protest (if I understand the google translation correctly). I had just discovered the Lemonleaf site not long ago and hope she/he continues creating beautiful free stuff inspite of this.

What scares me is that people outside the TSR community are jumping to Praline’s aid. Such as Shyne. Shocking, disgusting, and stupid if you ask me.
Is there anything the community can do to help convince LL we love her? I for one am boycotting Shyne and Lushness stuff from now on. I never really thought Praline’s crap was worth my time to begin with.

Clearly PralineSims stole, and TSR, like the lying deceiving money hungry shameless paysite they are, are definitely trying to hide the fact. TSR is known for doing disgusting things like leaking credit card numbers and protecting the liars.
I don’t want Lemonleaf to stop making sims items anymore, though, his/her make-up was my favourite.
PralineSims even removed that sh*t she wrote in her blog post.
To be honest, if you look at PralineSims’ works, the ones she did herself, they’re average/below. Then when her work suddenly became really good, that’s when she stole.
As to the racist person, they can go burn in hell cause they know nothing and they are a judgemental piece of crap. I hope they die a painful death, and are filled with misery and the most abhorred of pain. Racist people deserve to get their eyeballs ripped out of their heads.
Reply: The shit she wrote in her blog post was removed by Tom, not Praline. He did not want anymore negative publicity ’soundboarded’ on TSR. Praline threw a hissy fit over the deletion and still maintains Lemonleaf stole her creations, evidently using a time machine or some psychic ability.

I’m glad I found this site, just wished I did before I became a paying member of TSR but my subscription ends soon and I wont be renewing. I’m disgusted by Pralinesims, I use to think their creations were good just to find they were plagiarized. The first ‘apology’ that appeared briefly was penned by Praline, it was not much of an apology and had an air of ’We are so very sorry but it is all your fault and we did not do anything wrong..’ kind of vibe to it. This was quickly replaced by a long grovelling, more readable and PR friendly version, written by the team which did not sit well with Praline. The latest apology that remains today is a short and to the point version, written by Tom which Praline eventually found a tad more agreeable. -Coconut.

Pralinesims; weren’t that not 2 balkan sisters, somewhere from croatia? If so, then i’m deeply disappointed in them. I thought they were nice people. Downloaded some stuff from them. Not paystuff, cause i don’t pay for mods which should be free and which violates the terms of usage of EA. It’s ridiculous tsr ask money for such simple mods, while complex ones like Tamriel Rebuilt, MWSE, MGE, LGNPC, NoM for TES III: Morrowind is totally free. But now that i read this i find them not that nice anymore and what troubles me is that they have no shame at all. Stuff is still there and every single trace to this case is deleted. same goes for negative comments. Blegh. I wonder if any stuff from pralinesims is made by them, like those lots.
I think i will make a little cleaning through my mod folder. I don’t want to have stolen goods and don’t want to have anything to do with pralinesims anymore. They have to make a turn of 180 degrees if i ever wanted to download stuff from them, but i suppose that chance is just as big as winning the jackpot in the lottery.

I can’t believe a while ago I used to be a donator for TSR, anyways I quit when I found out about ‘the Booty’. That was the happiest day of my life.
About all this incident.. I just wanna track down Pralinesims and beat the fuck out of him/her (I don’t really give a f*uck who he/she is)
This makes me very sad, and I hope TSR will be taken down someday for good. Also, have you guys seen Pralinesims rugs? We could throw a new
accusation at her.. Stylistsims has that white rug (I think it’s included in the Donator’s bedroom) and Praline has THE SAME rug only made
a little bit bigger! Seriously, check that out! I’m very, very sad and shocked, that it’s still available to download that whore’s imitations

Racism is ignorance & is straight out ridiculous.
I have found a lot of the best CC to be from Japanese & Chinese sites. They are definitely NOT lazy or thieves.
(And ALL nationalities have their thieves & lazy people.)
The fact EA allows T$R or other pay-sites to even exist as they do TECHNICALLY breaks their OWN EULA rules
(yet EA invites them to creators camps..oh right, to steal, I mean, borrow ideas for next game. I see too many items now in Sims 3 that were only as CC in Sims 2….
EA creations are often inferior to CC versions (the fruits from EA alone make me cringe, but I also can’t believe the awful quality of a lot of “pay items” I have seen, it’s deplorable)
Pay sites threatening to call a lawyer? What a joke? Lawyers should be called on THEM instead because they are NOT ALLOWED TO CHARGE money! T$R is the worst in that they don’t just pay for the site, they are ROLLING in the $$$!!!!
Obviously many can’t understand the EULA then, oh wait…they ignore it because the greed for money.
And I might have felt bad for those in T$R that make good things & are not part of the greed, BUT how long can you be IGNORANT to all?
That’s about the same as saying you support the greed of the sites’ owner. You can’t “work” there or “with them” & not know its wrong what goes on. After all, if you have the brains to take apart or mess with components of the game, you can’t be completely dumb! Everyone that supports T$R, supports the dumb-ass owner’s style of living/huge income, which is a “straight-out” violation of EA EULA. Plain & simple.
Anyway, I will NEVER give a pay site a penny, I spend enough as it is from buying every darn exp & stuff pack.
And it makes me sad when I see comments from some subscribers saying they “only Download from T$R” because it’s the only site they trust.
To believe that, & miss out on so much more elsewhere is a crying shame!
How can they be so blind to the internet? It doesn’t take long time to learn, read…make the game better without making yourself broke or encouraging lazy thieves to live life of luxury off your hard-earned money.
If I had been so ignorant myself, I would have missed out on the best CC in my game!
Sure its hard when you can’t read the Russian, German, Japanese…etc…but that makes it even more challenging & fun & opens up more than just CC, you can learn new things.
The comparisons of CC between Lemonleaf & Praline, show Praline’s items as blurry copies.
Lemonleaf’s items are too crisp & of much better quality. Pralines look like poor carbon copies.
Everyone know what happens when you make copies…its never as good as the original.
My most favorite CC comes from free sites. It’s horrible when creeps that steal end up making the best CC creators close up or block off the rest of us that loved their work so much….

@Lucy…regardless of the fact, TSR is KNOWINGLY selling custom content which is ILLEGAL!!!! I even called EA customer service to ask them about it and they said they don’t support any third party content and that it IS against their terms of service to sell it. So i show them no sympathy. Ugh, Praline really gets on my nerves – every time Lemonleaf releases a new mesh/creation, a few days later Praline uploads a new file to TSR – and usually, it’s a subscriber one too. It annoys me when people gush on her comments saying ‘Oh, you are amazing!’ when she’s posted comments in her box under ‘Anonymous’ so she thinks people don’t know it’s her! I bet the IP address is exactly the same if TSR checked, which means she is also a racist (which is against nearly every websites’ rules, especially forumn sites such as TSR).
The textures are exactly the same, minus a few tiny changes. Praline’s defense? That she uses a Bamboo Drawing Tablet to handpaint them. RUBBISH. I have a drawing tablet too, but that doesn’t mean that if i upload a Van Gogh painting and put a splodge in the corner that I created the whole piece, does it?
And as for ’suing’ Lemonleaf – that’s just a lie to try to keep Lemonleaf quiet. Praline knows full well that if this case did go to court, there is sufficient evidence and records to prove that Lemonleaf DID create the original files and that in fact Praline copied them. The internet itself is a massive evidence weapon – all the files are up, and also, TSR goes against EA’s EULA terms, which states that you cannot create content for profit in association with the game.
So, Praline loses every single time. And if you want to really annoy her, get all of Praline’s payable content for free off paysitesmustbedestroyed
Reply: Well said! I also would like to add that TSR and Co like to throw the word ’sue’ around quite often, commonly to anyone who refuses to drink the Kool-Aid. They seem to think the threat of a law suit will leave rival sites/artists quaking in their boots and yet I challenge anyone to name just one person that TSR have actually sued? Are you kidding me? Obviously you are not familiar with TSR. They know exactly where those came from because, and according to them and their “team”, “We check every file carefully and if we feel that it may be copied, we ask the artist if it is.” Additionally they posted, and in their own words, if they feel that a file has been copied, they will ban the offending artist.
Pralinesims is a featured artist for The Sims Resource and to me, that shows that TSR supports the theft, the ongoing theft of Pralinesims, and will openly make monetary gains from it with no problem. What complete pukes.
Considering that Pralinesims is two sisters, one 24 and the other 13, it seems that the 13 year old is responding to the accusations with threats of a lawsuit and accusing Lemonleaf of stealing from her. I find that hysterical. What an idiot. What’s disgusting is the racist posts made on Pralinesims blog as theorized, by her.
Does TSR think we are all blind and can’t see the truth? It’s right there in front of your face if you look at the posted evidence. Pralinesims stole those from Lemonleaf. And Pralinesims doesn’t stop there. She has been stealing from other people, too. Rugs are now her target.
I wrote to Thomas about this, after finding out about it nearly a year later and he has not responded. I know what my response will be: he’s not getting any more of my money. I’m done with TSR and I’m hoping that a lot of other people will be, too.
Pralinesims recently had a new makeup posted as a featured item. I posted in the comments, “another makeup?….how original.” The post was immediately removed by her and she left a comment on my silly guestbook thanking me – which I promptly removed. I deleted anything that had her name on it off of my computer. I don’t want to be an accessory to theft. Do you?
If it were possible, I’d haul Pralinesims – both of them – off to jail myself. I hope they can live with themselves, and it seems that they can. Stealing from others and then stealing your money is how they live. Do you want to keep supporting that? If you do, that makes you as bad as they are.

I thought I’d bring this to people’s attention as it seems important considering it has to do with Lemonleaf. “teru_k” (or Ephemera), a very good creator for MTS who has created wonderful and unique skins since 2007 has recently realized a lot of Lemonleaf’s skins are actually using his skins as a base. Lemonleaf never asked for permission to do this and never gave credit which goes against Ephemera’s TOU which states “Please DO NOT claim my creations as yours, and DO NOT modify my textures without permission”.
Additionally, when confrounted Lemonleaf accused Ephemera of stealing their works instead, which is completely unfounded due to the fact Ephemera’s works are always posted before Lemonleaf and are always of a higher quality.
I don’t understand why Lemonleaf is doing the exact same thing as TSR did. I thought Lemonleaf was more humane, but now I’m beginning to understand they are the same.
I won’t stand up for Lemonleaf anymore because they are just as bad.

I never really have liked PralineSims stuff. It looked good in pictures, but horrible in game. LL stuff has always looked good, but personally I prefer S-club and Ephemera. I mostly go to LL for make up, as most of the S-club items are lips or the 3D eyelash mesh. Praline should’ve been kicked out, it only proves how low TSR are, and how much shame that they bring to the sims community. I’m rather disgusted with myself that I made an account there once. Thank you Coconut for showing me how filthy they are!
