TSR Tech Support

What happens when you download dodgy files from TSR and they break your game? You call on TSR tech support of course..

This unfortunate downloader had been crying on chat and had received zero help, she was eventually told to post on the forums, by which time she was very upset.

TSR tech support at it’s best I see.

Not just reading, probably laughing as well.

 OK good…?? Seriously?

You may have told them, but they did not listen..

First of all, Sammy, she posted in the chatroom and was ignored, she did not expect instant answers, just answers or maybe an apology- after all TSR’s buggy, trojan ridden shit has just broken her game, so a sorry would be nice. She did not yell at any people trying to help, in fact she did not yell at all and there were no people trying to help. It does not take much to deter TSR tech support from helping you. “Hey I’ve got a problem” usually does the trick.

  1. I wouldn’t be suprised if it was stuff from Riccinumbers, Ive noticed with here stuff can cause blue lot syndrome or game lag, even worse alot of her things look terrible in game, however it is a shame and direspectul to be treated that way, that’s tsr for you though.

  3. I don’t mean to defend TSR but.. zuzuqueen appears to be p!ssy b!tch. ‘PAY FOR MY GAME’ is all I needed to read.

She is a immature person with zero patience and perhaps not much brain inside that head of hers. All new content should always be tested before making it a permanent addition. It is her fault for expecting perfection.

  4. Hate to agree with T$R, but this person was yelling and being impatient. Typing in ALL CAPS and punctuation abuse is yelling. She thought waiting an hour was a problem, and demanded to know why no one was answering, that’s impatience. I understand she’s very upset, but that is no excuse. Even the most knowledgeable and conscientious creators sometimes make borked stuff, and games break. Happens.

If the content that broke her game was pay, she has a very legitimate complaint, but T$R is a bunch of swindlers, so I hope she’s not hoping for a refund. If it was free, politely asking the creator to fix it is quite reasonable. Yelling and impatience are counterproductive. Someone please send zuzu to MTS to get some proper help, and decent CC.

  5. Some tech support that is. It is clear that they have no single clue on how to help and it seems they also don’t want to help.
Next to that those who reply are probably blind or something. I would advise them to eat more carrots or take some glasses. The problem is described and yet they need to kick open doors.
There is a solution for this.
I use myself only a few things that i’ve plucked straight from tsr, free ones, and have no problems. But no hair or something like that.

  6. Stupid answer from La Femme Samantha, a helping forum is for giving help ,as friendly as possible, with the most of details concerning the ways to fix a problem ,nobody there was abble to talk to this person, just because she/he critizes the quality of their stuffies, shame on them
She shouldn’t wrote something at tsr (I never took part of this forum either at anything I just comments people free creations)…they are rubbishy helpers.

  7. To be fair this is the kind of downloader that makes me cringe. Creators (whoever they may be)put warnings about not being held responsible for a reason. If you download content, you’re risking your game. Simple as that. If something doesn’t work you dont ask for help with an attitude like this. It’s almost as bad as those who ‘yell’ and carry on when an artist takes a break or doesn’t update fast enough for them. If remember correctly from my days at tsr, there is a way to see what you have downloaded and when. Maybe she should just re download them so she can see what the files are called and then remove them.

  8. this is obviously because his/her game dont support so much cc.. because his/her computer dont support a game so heavy. he/she should delete the files and try if the game works.
if the game still no open, its a problem with the game no with the cc.. if the game start fine, he should open the tsr workshop, open the files which dont work, and save thems in the same format [or other like- if is a .package save as .sims3pack if is a .sims3pack save as a .package file] thats works for me :D
and if this is not about sims 3, then i comment for nothing :D

  9. I don’t think those TSRers are too out of place. Honestly, those are the kind of responses zuzuqueen would get on any forum, anywhere, with a post like that. Without seeing a transcript of what was said in the chatroom (and the responses she did or didn’t get there) it’s hard to denounce TSR for their tech support just from this thread alone. I’m in no doubt that it was screwy TSR content that KO’ed her game but–while the organisation as a whole is a stain on the Sims fandom–this post doesn’t really tarnish them in any way.

  10. I guess La Femme Samantha is right with what she say’s.Although there’s minor glitches but I guess they are trying to do their very best in order to answers and help the members queries or problems.I do agree also that one should provide and miss nothing even a single for the moderator/any forum members to suggest and or help you with the problem you have.Proper communication is a must to have a good product.Sorry if ever I offend somebody here, if there is…

  12. Obviously this is a little girl/boy. The way they “handled” her was awful. I went on her profile at TSR and saw she hasn’t logged into her account since May 2012. Hopefully she learned her lesson and went somewhere else for her cc.
