Most people celebrate Easter by eating chocolate or going to church, Tom celebrates it by sacrificing a member of the free community, I guess he was all out of goats.
TSR Thomas has yet again destroyed the work of a talented creator and freesite owner. This time not only did he file blatant false TOS reports, hack him and then release some personal information, he also made his victim the subject of a cruel ” Late April Fools” joke and has spent most of the day laughing at him.
Some of you may know ZVEKI from sites such as LivingSims or TheBlackPearl and also his Tumblr website. On his site he had some Sims 3 downloads that were converted from TS2 meshes, a few of these meshes were originally made by TSR artists. TSR demanded he remove these downloads from his site, Which he immediately did, although he was doing nothing illegal or unethical in hosting these – in fact by TSR’s own standards this practise is totally acceptable, such as when TSR take a mesh from a TS2 base game, stuff pack, or expansion and convert them, they claim the rights to the converted mesh belongs to them and therefore is theirs to sell, so by these standards the rights to the converted meshes now belong to ZVEKI. Even so, Zveki was kind enough to take them down from his site and they were instead hosted at sunsetsims. All the downloads that remained belonged to Zveki and had nothing to do with TSR.
Tom, unwilling to let this rest then decided to report EVERY download left on the site, he filed a false report to Mediafire stating that these remaining downloads were the property of TSR and were stolen by Zveki, as a result all his downloads on his site and on other sites were deleted by Mediafire.
On the same day Zveki’s YouTube channel was hacked and all his videos , all the files he was working on and over 1000 subscribers were lost, his account name was changed to ‘I STEAL FROM BIGGER AND BETTER ARTISTS’ and his telephone number was displayed on the page.
It gets sicker.. Tom has been laughing about it all day. What Tom has found really funny is that he spoke to Zveki and has somehow convinced him to go after someone called LaChandra, saying that she took down Zvekis downloads because she is working for ‘pirates’. The part of the ‘joke’ that Tom did not share with Zveki is that LaChandra is part of the Anti piracy team at Mediafire, and although she may have technically been the one to remove the downloads, she did it because of a direct report ( A LIE ) from Thomas himself. Tom is calling Zveki a “late April Fool” and he cannot wait to see him publically accuse a member of the Mediafire team of being a ‘pirate’ and a hacker.
Tom says he did this because of Zvekis association with Sunsetsims, although this is just a pathetic excuse because he was targeting him before he hosted some of his files there.
Although gleefully joking about his false TOU report, Tom has not openly claimed responsibility for the YouTube hack, (..he has not denied it either ) However the fact that the hack was done on very the same day as his false report and also how he referred to the hack before it was publicised raises no doubts in my mind that this was another TSR hack to add to his collection.
To put a cherry on the cake, Tom has also banned Zveki from TSR for life, although this is not a bad thing, at least he cannot steal any more updated passwords/personal info from his account. Sadly, as a result of TSR’s harassment, Zveki has announced that he is no longer creating for the Sims. I wish he would reconsider and not make this too easy for that smug little b’stard.
Word of warning to Tom, while reading the TOU on your many visits to Mediafire did you read right to the end? No? Better up the subs at TSR, you may have a bill coming…
Update
Another site falls victim to TSR, Dreamsims ( TS3stuffs ) http://ts3stuffs.blogspot.com/

I find myself wondering if anyone with any kind of online clout has sent a form letter to popular download hosting sites informing them of TSR’s MO and the fact that they are conducting illegal sales on a grand scale in addition to making all these spurious abuse reports (and thus doesn’t know stolen content when it pays for his second home). At this point, it sounds like Tommy just sits in front of his PC and reports freepeeps when he’s bored. It must at least get annoying for the sites’ teams, and I’m sure they don’t want to waste their time on this childish tripe.
Reply: I was thinking the exact same thing last night, when I have some spare time I will compose a ‘report’ to them, especially as it clearly states in their TOU that false reporting is illegal. It may also do some good if the victims of fake reports file a counter claim, clearly quoting the EULA and Mediafires own TOU about false reports. – Coconut

Toma$$ is really spiteful and childish, I’m wondering what Steve thinks about all this, I guess he wouldn’t admit it, but he must be really secretly pissed when he sees how much money the company is losing, not because of ‘pirates’ but because of the childish way Toma$$ behaves. I can picture him at school, running and telling the teacher if another kid even touched his dolls, then paying someone to kick the crap out of them after school if the teacher didn’t punish them enough.

Dear Zveki.
I’ve been following your Tumblr for a while, and also downloading some of your stuff from other sites, so I heard about the hacking and all. I thought it was horrible. But after reading this, I’m just… Speechless. What a jerk, seriously. I hope you change your mind and come back, but I can understand if you need a long and solid break. I wish we could do something to bring that Tom guy down, and I hope the Mediafire Team will listen to your side of the story.
Dear Coco.
Thank you! I know which site not to be visiting again. I never knew anything about previous hackings.

I will try to pass on your comments to Zveki, but recentl attempts to contact him have failed. There is a worry that his email may have been hacked but this is unconfirmed. – Coconut

Poor Zveki, I’m glad he was smart enough to see through Toma$$s lies before Toma$$ made a fool out of him.

This honestly infuriates me and I too, have had issues with these people. I had posted a link on my page to paysitesmustbedestroyed.org so that people would know that what TSR is doing is illegal (taking meshes from EA, altering them, and taking rights as their own). I also left a link to my own site for others to check out and TSR contacted me, telling me I needed to take both links down, even though the creations(houses)on my site are my own. I contacted EA about this and a few emails later, they told me I needed to consult with a lawyer. I didnt bother because I didnt think it was that serious, however, after reading this, I think further action needs to be taken. The fact that they hacked into his account, posted his number, and made a false report, is absolutely insane. I’m really surprised EA is letting these people get away with this because when you read EA’s terms of agreement, it says that no one is allowed to use their products, i.e, those that allow you to create meshes and sell them for profit. Which makes absolute sense unless EA worked out a deal with these scam artists. ANYWAY, I think this should be brought to some kind of authority; either a lawyer or the media. I will back you guys up 100%. I’m sorry for what happened to Zveki and good luck with everything. And btw, revenge is sweet (:
Reply: Thank you so much for coming foward with this Lisa. TSR have absolutely NO RIGHT to tell you which links you can or can not have on your own site. If there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to ask. If you still have copies of their absurd demands and/or the advice from EA, I will gladly publish them with your permission ( and of course, your personal information would be removed. ) – Coconut
