The Creators camp at Redwood Shores kicks off today. ( January 12th to 16th 2009 )
As previously reported at P.M.B.D by Calalily, TSR have handed out invites to the staff for this event. EA will cover the cost of return flights to CA, from anywhere around the world, 6 nights at a hotel and food and drink is all inclusive. EA will be interviewing the FA’s, and showcasing TSR and the FA content during the game launch. FA’s will also be invited to create some content for the sims 3 game.
Atwa had been invited and her friend tdyannd was also invited to provide company for her, as no one else would speak to her. The FA’s caused an uproar at Atwas inappropriate invite, and no one wanted her there, so her invite has now been withdrawn by Steve and she was replaced. Ironically, her companion tdyannd is still invited! Atwa was loudly protesting against her invite, on the grounds that she is not FA, staff or even SA, but she was unable to get it withdrawn due to reasons unknown to Atwa.
Atwa caused such a stink that Steve and the other staff felt she was now a risk to the launch of V7 and the TSR reputation, and coupling that with the fact that she was no longer needed to work on this completed project, she was fired before the launch and her account was deleted the same day as Tom gave her a minisite. Steve says she is not welcome back at anytime, The FA’s and other staff threw a party and are adamant she’s gone for good, but Atwa claims that Tom has told her she can return again in a couple of months when the dust settles and there is a job for her ‘within the sims 3 area’ We will have to wait and see who’s telling the truth this time.

Update:
Steve has now decided to blog the creators names and some of the weeks events. The names were to remain secret for the rest of the week with Steve just blogging himself, but he suddenly seems to have had a change of plan now that the names are out.

the mere mention of tsrs involvement with ea games and the development of custom content is more than enough reason for me not to buy
the game.it’s high time ea games sees tsr as most of the sims comunity does, a pack of parasitic weasels that should have been shut
down years ago,any mention of any conection between ea games and that festering sore tsr has me seething with rage so much so that if
there is even a vague hint of an asociation or arangement between the two then i will not be buying sims3 or any ea games product.

Totally agree with Rudi, I´ve stopped purchasing their shit from the old times of Nightlife EP and think it´s time to give them a lesson, my proposal is say all people stop purchasing any EA products, start from now a big boicot against EA & their products, take the passive resistance like M.L. King did and Gandhi did before him. The passive resistance also is a weapon.

I for one will NOT be buying sims 3 either, until ea realise what weasels t$r are, they have so much money they they are making houses!! WTF!
I thought we were only allowed to get money for bandwith! NOT houses!
If they have enough money to pay their creators bonuses of up to 500 dollars a month they they are rolling in it and YET..
People STILL keep creating and downloading to t$r even though they know that their creations are no longer theirs when they download to t$r!
Look at secretsims, and others who don’t even own their own creations thanks to t$r!
